PvE servers focus on fighting the world: custom mobs, dungeons, bosses, and loot—usually with player combat off or limited to arenas. Heavier RPG hybrids may use parties and class roles.

Ask whether bosses are private instances or open-world events. Open bosses without clear rules often turn into kill-steal chaos.

Useful listings describe progression chapters or drop systems. “Custom mobs” alone does not tell you much.
