We prioritize the real Minecraft experience. That means no annoying command-based economies, teleporting systems, or heavy mods. We believe the diamond economy is the best economy for its simplicity and the inherent encouragement for social engagement. ❓ Why Sundown SMP❓ 18+ Community (NSFW IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN): We expect maturity and rely on mutual accountability. Our top priority is to maintain a safe, comfortable space for everyone. (Discrimination, hate speech, and griefing are met with zero tolerance). True Vanilla Feel, Excellent Performance: We recently updated to the Minecraft 26.2 "Chaos Cubed" update! The server runs on a highly optimized, Purpur dockerized environment to ensure top-tier performance and zero lag, even with complex redstone. Automatic incremental backups happen every two hours, so your builds are always safe. Custom Features & Additions: While we keep the gameplay vanilla, we regularly introduce light quality-of-life additions using custom Java plugins and datapacks. Since these run on vanilla resources, the added features are very lightweight and focused on enhancing the experience while staying loyal to the vanilla experience. Immersive Features: We use Simple Voice Chat for proximity chat (highly encouraged, but not forced!) and BlueMap so you can view a beautiful 3D web map of our world directly from your browser. This allows us to keep a clean record of our members while streamlining communication. The server has DiscordSRV and Interactive Chat installed, allowing the in-game chat to be more immersive and linked to the 𝐬𝐦𝐩-𝐢𝐧-𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞-𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐭 channel. This grants non-playing members the ability to seamlessly communicate with playing members. Safety: Staff enforces a strict policy forbidding misuse of communication privileges. Players who use their communication privileges to make others uncomfortable in any way will be forcefully removed from the server if it is deemed necessary. Please be respectful so we don't have to exercise these efforts often! 📜 Sundown SMP Rules 📜 Whitelist Only: You must submit an application via our Discord to join. These are usually reviewed within the hour. If you're too excited to wait, DM a staff member to accelerate the process! No Griefing or Unwanted PVP: PVP consent is recorded in the ✻-𝐬𝐦𝐩-𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐬 channel. Unwanted PVP will result in disciplinary actions on a report-basis where consequences worsen as infractions repeat. Respect the World: No seed cracking or exploiting (TNT duplication is allowed if done safely and respectfully) Be Kind: All Discord TOS applies. Respect the boundaries of players at all times. Remember that we're all friends in here! No cracked clients: please do not request compatibility or accommodation for cracked clients.
