About BedWars Minecraft Servers

BedWars is a team minigame. Each team has an island and a bed. You gather resources from generators, buy gear from the shop, attack other islands, and break beds so enemies cannot respawn. The last team still alive wins.

Most networks offer Solo, Doubles, and larger team sizes, plus occasional special modes. Bigger hubs also add ranked queues, cosmetics, and rotating maps.

How does a BedWars round work?

Protect your bed, gather from generators, upgrade through the item shop, and eliminate other teams. After your bed is gone you keep fighting with your current life—no respawn. The match ends when one team remains.

What should I look for on a BedWars listing?

Player count (queues need people), edition (Java vs Bedrock vs crossplay), and whether the description mentions Solo/Doubles/Squads, ranked, or custom maps. A dual-tagged “Minigames” hub may bury BedWars behind other games.

Why can’t I join some BedWars servers on Bedrock?

Many top BedWars networks are Java-only. If the card says Java, you need the Java client. Crossplay listings usually note a separate Bedrock address or port.

Where do I start the game after I connect?

Most hubs use an NPC, game selector chest, or wall sign labeled BedWars. Join a queue from there; you do not play on the lobby world itself.
